Vancouver, WA – April 23rd, 2012 – Employees from Dick Hannah Dealerships celebrated Earth Day by joining Clark Public Utilities (www.clarkpublicutilities.com) in planting trees for the Clark Public Utilities Stream Team’s Earth Day Celebration: Plant it for the Planet on April 21st, 2012. Dick Hannah Dealerships’ employees and volunteers planted close to 1,000 trees in the Salmon Creek Watershed in an effort to reduce harmful erosion to Salmon Creek and restore habitat for salmon traveling up stream.
Since March of 2007, Dick Hannah Dealerships has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation (www.arborday.org) to plant a tree with every new and pre-owned car sold. As of April 2012, Dick Hannah Dealerships has planted over 65,000 trees in northwest forests.
