Approximately 49% of VPS families have incomes below the federal poverty guidelines, with some schools as high as 85%. In light of Covid-19, the need is greater than ever with more families struggling financially. For many, the added burden of purchasing school supplies could translate into falling behind on rent and utilities or reducing an already minimal food budget. You can help the nearly 11,000 Vancouver Public School students who live in poverty within all 37 VPS schools & programs start the school year with the supplies they need to be successful.
