Our Mobile Automotive Technicians are adept professionals capable of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive issues across all domains and may include specialized expertise in specific repair areas. The ideal candidate is customer-centric, personable, and highly organized, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
Mobile Technician/Mechanic Compensation and Benefits:
Automotive Mobile Technician Starting Salary:$22-$28 per hour plus service bonus, to be determined at service directors' discretion.
Generous Paid Time Off (PTO):We prioritize work-life balance, offering industry-leading PTO. New full-time employees accrue 4 hours per pay period, totaling approximately 96 hours in the first year, with increases over time.

Automotive Mobile Technician Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Mobile Service Coordinator and prepare for the day’s appointments
Consult with customers regarding work to be performed, providing clear and professional communication
Perform multi-point inspections
Complete all work in a clean, efficient, and organized manner
Communicate effectively with the parts department regarding required parts
Save and tag parts for warranty claims as needed
Road test vehicles when required or refer to a test technician
Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
Automotive Mobile Technician Qualifications:
6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Experience using scan tools
Ability to program modules, perform DTC retrieval, and interpret PIDs preferred
Strong customer service mindset with a customer-centric approach
Personable and able to build positive relationships with customers and team members
Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written
Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines effectively
Computer savvy with the ability to use mobile devices and learn new systems
Strong research and problem-solving skills
Physical ability to use mobile computer devices
Physical ability to bend, squat, work under vehicles, and lift between 50–80 pounds
Willingness to work in inclement weather
Must maintain a clean driving record and be insurable under company insurance
