WHAT IS STRIVE 2 DRIVE?

Strive 2 Drive is an academic initiative sponsored by Dick Hannah Dealerships designed to encourage high school students to improve their grades by offering them a chance to win a new car.

IS THERE A COST TO ENTER?

No.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

All full-time students attending accredited high schools or home school programs located in Clark and Cowlitz counties in Washington; Clackamas, Columbia, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Wasco, Washington and Yamhill counties in Oregon, who will be at least 14 years of age by July 24, 2016.

  • Students between 14 and 18 years of age may be registered by their parent or legal guardian who becomes the legal entrant for the program

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF REGISTERING FOR THE PROGRAM EARLY?

Early registration helps to:

  • Ensure we receive your completed registration and grades in plenty of time before the cut off date on July 14, 2016
  • Provide updates and information to entrants about the program, reminders of due dates for grades, changes in times and dates of events, etc.

WHEN IS THE DRAWING & DO I HAVE TO BE THERE?

The drawing will be held between 6:00 and 6:30 pm on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Portland International Raceway. Gate opens at 5 pm. STUDENT MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.

HOW DO I QUALIFY?

There are two ways students can qualify to win the grand prize:

  1. Attain a GPA of 3.5 or better for the 2015-2016 academic school year -OR-
  2. Boost your last semester / trimester GPA by at least half-a-point (For example, elevate your GPA from a 2.0 to a 2.5 or a 3.0 to a 3.5) over your first semester / trimester GPA

IS FACEBOOK PARTICIPATION REQUIRED TO WIN?

No, Facebook is an avenue to provide students with pertinent updates regarding Strive 2 Drive.
