The track-tuned high-performance suspension on the WRX features aggressive spring and damper rates, large front and rear anti-roll bars and higher performance summer tires for tremendous grip and control. WRX Premium and Limited models also feature inverted dampers.

All hopped up with a hood scoop, flared fenders, and a hot-rod engine under the hood, the WRX is an Impreza on steroids. Available only as a sedan, a 268-hp turbo 2.0-liter four and a six-speed manual are standard, as is all-wheel drive. A CVT is optional, but of course the manual is more fun to drive despite its wide ratios. With crisp steering and a quick turn-in, the WRX carves up corners like the rally-inspired beast it is, but the ride is unforgiving over all but the smoothest roads. Read More >>

Starlink, Subaru’s new infotainment system, has been added to the 2016 WRX and WRX STI. The system comes with a standard 6.2-inch touchscreen or a larger seven-inch unit when equipped with navigation. The EyeSight suite of driver aids is now available in WRX models with the continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and adaptive cruise control lane departure warning, lane keep assist, blind spot warning and automatic front emergency braking. 18-inch wheels with summer performance tires are now standard on the WRX Premium and Limited trim levels while the WRX STI is now available with a no-cost low-profile rear trunk spoiler.
